What We stand for
We commit to four core values: mercy, reconciliation, individual worth, and zeal for the salvation of souls. Our founders, Saints John Eudes and Mary Euphrasia, recognized in each person the image of God. Learn more about our history.
How we live
We are one of only a few orders of Catholic Sisters that has two lifestyles. A Sister of the Good Shepherd can express her zeal for God’s people either as an apostolic or contemplative Sister.
Where we are
Across the United States, the Province of Mid-North America has ministries dedicated to social justice and human services. The province is part of an international congregation of Good Shepherd Sisters in 73 countries.
Gratitude expressed
Your kindness has not been forgotten … I recently celebrated 15 years of sobriety. I was so broken when the Good Shepherd led me to Gracenter. Today I am reminded of the power of kindness, and the comfort of guidance.

A Good Shepherd Sister changed my life forever. I was pretty lost when I was referred to her by a priest. I soon found out that I had two mental disorders. She worked with me for four years through all the ups and downs. I learned how to cope in peace. In addition, her spirituality made me want to be like her and improve my spiritual life. I don’t know where I would be without her loving Good Shepherd care.

When my family came from Vietnam to resettle in Atlanta we were heartened. Good Shepherd sent an outreach worker to come and help us. We were moved and thankful for their help. This was a great consolation for those who are new to America. We are very thankful.
