Companions of Jesus the Good Shepherd
Since 1983, companions have shaped a path for women to live the Good Shepherd mission.
The companions of Jesus the Good Shepherd are Catholic women who feel called to live the Good Shepherd charism in their daily lives. Rooted in the spirituality of St. Mary Euphrasia, companions embrace a consecrated way of life while remaining in their own homes, workplaces, parishes, and communities.
Companions, who take a vow of zeal, walk in mutuality with the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, carrying forward a shared commitment to the dignity and worth of every person. They respond to the Gospel call by living simply, loving faithfully, and listening attentively to the Spirit. Through their lives and ministries, they work to promote healing, justice, reconciliation, and care for our common home.
Gathering regularly for prayer, formation, retreat, and fellowship, companions support one another as they deepen their relationship with God and grow in their commitment to the Good Shepherd mission.
For women who are drawn to Good Shepherd spirituality and seeking a deeper way to live their faith, the companions offer a path of commitment grounded in prayer, community, and service. All women are welcome, whether single, married, or formerly married.
