A Story of Mission
The U.S. | Toronto Region Archive is more than history. It is a living resource that tells a story of faith, courage and hope. The archive preserves the past, connects to our mission today, and serves as an inspiration for tomorrow.
For more than 10 years, our Director of Archives, Monte Abbott, MA, RPA, SAA Certified Archivist, has gathered, organized, restored, and supported archival collections across the U.S. | Toronto Region. Monte continues this work by preserving the stories, history and legacy of sisters, ministries and communities.
Beyond formal administrative records, the archive collects informal and visual records to preserve the memory of daily life and understanding of the work and charism. Through words, images and individual experiences of sisters living the mission, these documents present opportunities to encounter the Good Shepherd story in ways that both inspire and challenge.
